This is something to behold. It’s a ‘Softcard’ made by Microsoft, with a Z80 processor, that allows you to run CPM on your Apple II.
SCSI Adapter
Floppy Drive Adapter
Serial Adapter Card
Sound Card. (Yes, I now have the missing chips)
Load ProDos quickly using a ROM drive.
The Apple //e case is huge, plenty of room to slot in cards and explore the impressive hardware.
If you haven’t figured out already, I loath Floppy Disks, but they are the primary medium for many classic computers. Luckily, as is the case here, the Apple // enjoys a ‘Floppy Emulator” made by ‘Big Mess of Wires’
Not knowing much about the Apple //e means this is a collection of games available that I was familiar with from other platforms.
Pac-Man
DigDug
Defender
Galaxian
Ikari Warriors
Mario Bros
Raster Blaster Made by Bill Budge, who was also recruited by 3DO to make the game Blade Force
Robotron
Star Glider
Star Wars (Yes, seriously)
Stellar 7 (also had a sequel on the 3DO)
Elite
The Apple of my Eye… I’m not a massive Apple fan. That’s not to say they’re bad system, they’re obviously great, but they never personally floated my boat. That does not apply to the Apple //e. This machine is genuinely interesting,
Prince of Persia. Should be noted this game originated on the Apple //
Last Ninja
